"You'll never be half the lawyer she was!" A flash. Mia? Kitten? But... That's not possible... She is dead... Trite and Kitten slowly did their objection poses. It was like a slowed down film. "Objection!" The voice of Trite sounded together with her sweet voice. This was it. It had all came down to this moment. Godot finally knew Trite wasn't to one who was to blame for Kitten's death. He had completed his only goal. He could become Diego Armando once again.
~ The Howling - Within Temptation ~
"You look wonderful, sis!" Mia looked into the mirror. She did indeed. Her hair was decorated with little flowers and the white dress she was wearing looked wonderful on her. "Thanks, Maya and Pearl. You did a wonderful job." "No problem. But the ceremony is about to start! You got to go!" Mia smiled and walked to the hall. The doors opened and she walked in, slowly. There he stood. Diego, with his coffee mug and his trademark-grin. The wedding was about to start.

"One cup of coffee, please. No milk, no sugar." "Fine, mr Armando." He took a table and waited for his coffee. Not soon after his coffee was brought to him, he saw one person he'd rather not see again. "Hello mr Armando." "Dahlia Hawthorne." "That's not a proper greeting to anyone." "Anyone, but you." "Hmpf." He took his coffee and drank. The moment he put the cup to his lips, he knew something was very wrong. The, usually smiling, eyes of Hawthorne had run cold. "Goodbye, mr Armando."

He was surrounded by darkness. But, sometimes, the darkness slipped away and he saw, faintly, far away, Kitten's face. He would have given anything to be able to talk to her or, to just simply hear her voice. But he couldn't. Kitten. He still loved her, as he always would. Then, darkness would take over again.

Destroyed. Scattered in pieces. Her life was simply destroyed, grinded to dustbits. She tried to think straight, but she couldn't. Every time two names appeared in her head. Diego Armando and Dahlia Hawthorne. Why had she done that? It was all destroyed, all by that one action. Poison. Coffee. It was too simple, but it still worked. That heartless woman. She didn't understand anything, but herself.

They stood inside the office. "How can I take another case again? This was all a failure." A bandaged hand touched her shoulder. "Don't worry Kitten. You'll be fine." "No, I won't!" And Mia started crying again. A hand wiped away the tears from her face. "A lawyer doesn't cry untill it's all over." "How can I call myself a lawyer, if I can't save my clients." "You can. Trust me."

"Why did I ever became a lawyer... I can't do this..." She mumbled to herself. "Of course you can do it. You're just nervous, that's all." "Diego!" "What's it, Kitten?" "You... just surprised me, that's all." "I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention. Make sure you get some sleep. You must be ready for your first case"

"Kitten... One day, I'll be up there, in heaven, with you. I promise. No one would ever have guessed you would be the first. To die, that is. Before I'll join you in heaven, I have to do something over here. Diego." The paper burned pretty quick to ashes. He watched as the smoke flew up, carrying his message to heaven.

What have I become? I... I...have killed her... I've killed someone! But I can't tell anyone. My goal isn't complete yet. They can't find out. If it wasn't for the fact I have to round something off here, I would have been dead a long time ago. Kitten, Mia, please, I hope you will forgive me.

"Sometimes I think her mother is Maya, not you, Kitten." Mia smiled. "She has a lot of energy. Just like Maya. That's why she loves her so much." They watched the little girl playing outside the house. Suddenly, the girl came in, shouting, Mommy, Daddy! "What's it, Rose?" "There are butterflies outside!" "That's nice." "Let me show them to you! But you have to be quick!" Rose took te hands of Mia and Diego and together they ran after the butterflies.

My 2nd shuffle meme. This one is all related to Mia Fey and Diego Armando (or Miego, whichever you prefer!) (link to my first shuffle meme: [link] )
Notes specific to the stories:
1. The thoughts of Godot at the moment he sees Mia and Phoenix doing their joined Objection (end of the last case in Trials and tribulations.) Based on the song's lyrics, especially, "When we start killing, it's all coming down right now."
2. A "what if" situation. This describes the wedding of Mia and Diego. The song is in Japanese, but one line is sung in English, "I say yes."
3. Just before Dahlia poisons Diego. Also based on song's lyrics (Too much to write down here, but here is a [link] where the full lyrics are written down!) . The Ice queen in the song is Dahlia.
4. Diego in hospital. No more explaination needed, storywise. Songwise, here are the lyrics [link]
5. Mia's thoughts just after Diego's poisoning. The title of the song is Destroyed, which pretty much describes what Dahlia did to their love and their lifes.
6. Mia and Diego in the office after Mia's first trial. I already made another Miego related piece in my previous shuffle meme, so I was forced to make something else with the same song...
7. The night before Mia's first trial. The song has a nervous feeling around it.
8. Godot writes a letter to Mia in heaven. He burns it to convey the message to heaven.
9. Godot's thoughts just after he has killed Misty/Elise.

I think this one is somewhat better than your previous one 
However... I do think they look a bit short, but that's mostly because of my BIIIIIIIIIG screen.
Also, because I've got nothing to do, I'll give some critique =3 If you don't agree with it, just ignore it (a)
Btw, I wrote the critique while listening to the song/reading the lyrics. Didn't think about it before.
1. It's, in my opinion, quite short for quite a long song. Seeing the lyrics and the mood the song gives, you could have done something from the POV of Dahlia Hawthrone which still had Miego in it... However, when I listen to the song it doesn't really match up with what you wrote.. But the lyrics does kinda, so that's okay =3
2. My, my... How cliché it is actually that we all think about a wedding when we hear 'I say yes' However, you could have done something else than this and write about what happened when Mia was buying the dress (with Lana, I suppose...). However, it's still nice captured this one ~
3. Aah... A typical Dahlia song ~ Loved the fact that the only things Dahlia, basically, says are 'Hello' and 'Goodbye'. However, there's not really a point in this story where Dahlia could have put the poison in the cup, which is quite..... sad.
4. The lyrics fits the situation quite good. However, you could have, to match it with the lyrics some more, written about the last moments he had before getting in a coma. Apart from that bit, it's okay, but short.
5. Looking at the lyrics and the song itself... Is it (w)right to think that you just based it on the title? If you did, then you did a nice job. However, knowing the lyrics I'd choose to write some thoughts about Diego before Mia and Diego have a relationship/item.
6. Hmm... The song matches the mood in this little story, ABER (Oh no, I use German O_o) looking at the lyrics, you could have also written about Mia's thoughts when she hears that Diego'll most probably not wake up from his coma.. Anyway, it's nice.
7. First thing that I notice, is the fact she call him 'Diego'. Considering the point of time, she'll call him 'Mr Armando', even if he startles her (shown in T&T). Looking at the mood & lyrics, I'd write something about Mia finally becoming mad at Diego because he just teases her waaaaaaaaaay too much.
8. Lyrics and song's mood match the story nicely. It is a bit small, but it's also nice. However, looking at the song's length.. I'm positivelly (Lol, don't know if it's spelled correctly XD I don't care, though.. So I won't buy anti-itching cream for you) you could have described the surroundings in the beginning.
9. I've got nothing to say about it. It fits the song, lyrics & the game's effents. However, his thoughts do seem a bit.... not-Diego/Godot.. In my opinion.
10. YAY! Finally another song that I already know ~ I understand that the song actually describes the child ('cause it doesn't match Mia or Diego at all) ABER (DUN, DUN, DUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!) .... I kinda hate the name Rose...... However, I understand that you had to make up a name quickly (even though we already had a name, namely Ilze Armando ^^).
To summarise: ... I think you need to try to make your pieces a bit longer and to describe the surroundings a bit. Also, don't tend to let them say too much after each other! Putting something inbetween the dialogues might improve the things! I also advise you to do Shuffle memes more often, since it helps you to get inspiration quite quickly (and try to skip as less songs as possible ~ ('Cause I almost know for sure that you did xP))
