Bubbles in the paintThere are bubbles in the paint of our back door.She once pointed them out to me."Look, isn't that strange?" she said."I mean, they're not supposed to be there. Yet they are." I wondered what she was doing, but I didn't want to interrupt her. Her thin, white fingers were busily trying to mold one of the bubbles into a shape I didn't recognize yet.
